Evergreen launches Peru-North Chile service
2026-05-11

The PNC service is strategically designed to reinforce Evergreen’s end-to-end container shipping network along the western coast of South America, with enhanced direct connectivity between key Peruvian and northern Chilean ports—and extended inland reach to Bolivia via intermodal rail and trucking links.

The service will be operated by a single 2,500-TEU vessel deployed on a fixed 14-day round-trip rotation. The inaugural voyage will be undertaken by the "Lakonia 334", departing from the Port of Chancay on 13 May 2026. The rotation comprises the following port calls: Chancay → Callao → Iquique → Arica → Chancay.

Evergreen stated that the PNC service supports its broader commitment to improving schedule reliability, transit time consistency, and integrated logistics solutions for shippers engaged in West Coast South America trade.
