Hapag-Lloyd invests heavily to upgrade the CCM route
2026-06-22

Effective 10 July 2026, the revised service will maintain connectivity to Acajutla, El Salvador, through a streamlined rotation connecting Lázaro Cárdenas (Mexico) with the port of Acajutla. The rotation includes two calls at Lázaro Cárdenas—first at LCT Terminal, then at APM Terminals Mexico—followed by a final call at Acajutla.

The inaugural voyage under the updated schedule will be operated by the vessel "San Alfonso" (voyage number 26027E), with scheduled port calls as follows: LCT Terminal, Lázaro Cárdenas on 10 July; APM Terminals Mexico on 12 July; and Acajutla on 17 July.

According to Hapag-Lloyd, this adjustment is intended to deliver more predictable weekly service frequency, reduce transit time variability, and support improved cargo planning and supply chain coordination for customers engaged in bilateral trade between Mexico and El Salvador.
