Ocean Alliance revises PNW service rotation
2026-03-24

Ocean Alliance will revise the port rotation of its Transpacific Columbus PNW service as part of its Day 10 product enhancement initiative, with implementation scheduled for mid-April 2024.

Under the updated configuration, Kwangyang Port (South Korea) will replace Kaohsiung Port (Taiwan) as the initial port of call on the CMA CGM-operated service leg.

The revised rotation sequence is as follows: Kwangyang → Xiamen → Shenzhen (Yantian) → Ningbo → Shanghai → Busan → Vancouver → Seattle → return to Kwangyang.

This adjustment—undertaken by the Ocean Alliance member carriers (CMA CGM, COSCO Shipping Lines, OOCL, and Evergreen Marine)—aims to strengthen regional network alignment, enhance schedule reliability, and improve overall service efficiency along the Transpacific trade corridor.

The Columbus PNW service serves as a dedicated liner solution linking major Northeast Asian hub ports with key Pacific Northwest gateways in North America, facilitating time-sensitive and high-volume cargo movements between these economically integrated regions.
