Maersk has implemented a seasonal blank sailing on its Northern Star service, impacting the vessel Capitaine Baret for southbound voyage 628S and northbound voyage 631N. This operational adjustment reflects anticipated cargo seasonality and demand volatility along the Asia–Oceania trade lane.

Southbound voyage 628S is scheduled to depart Shanghai on 12 July 2026; northbound voyage 631N is scheduled to depart Tauranga on 22 August 2026.

All affected bookings—except those destined for Brisbane—will be automatically rebooked onto the next available vessel and voyage. For Brisbane-bound cargo, Maersk has secured dedicated ad hoc coverage from Shanghai and Hong Kong, thereby maintaining weekly service frequency to Brisbane throughout the blank sailing period.
