Major move! CNC's China-Korea-Malaysia maritime route quietly adjusted
2026-06-24

CNC Line has implemented a strategic adjustment to its Korea–China–Malaysia (KCM2) service, effective Q3 2026. This revision includes a reduction in vessel deployment and an updated port rotation to enhance operational efficiency and service alignment with evolving trade demand.

Specifically, the service no longer calls at Shantou and omits the second Busan port call; Xiamen has been added as a new port of call. Concurrently, the vessel fleet assigned to the KCM2 loop has been reduced from seven to six units, each with a nominal capacity of approximately 4,250 TEU.

The revised KCM2 rotation is as follows: Tianjin → Busan → Qingdao → Ningbo → Shanghai → Shenzhen (Shekou) → Port Klang → Penang → Port Klang → Singapore → Nansha → Xiamen → Qingdao → Tianjin.

According to the carrier’s official schedule update, these modifications are designed to streamline network operations while preserving end-to-end connectivity across key gateway ports in China, South Korea, and Malaysia.
