The revised surcharge rates are as follows:

Compared to the previous weekly rates, the surcharges for Finland, Lithuania, and Latvia have each increased by one percentage point; rates for Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Estonia remain unchanged.

The EIFES is a temporary, time-bound surcharge applicable exclusively to store-door inland transport services and will remain in effect until further notice. Electric-powered truck and rail transport solutions are expressly exempt from this surcharge.

Maersk stated that the adjustment reflects sustained increases in fuel procurement costs and ongoing supply chain volatility stemming from geopolitical developments impacting energy markets in the Middle East. The carrier will conduct weekly reviews of the EIFES rates to ensure responsiveness to evolving energy market conditions and will publish any subsequent adjustments in advance.
