Discontinuation of PSS for Far East Asia → North Europe and the Mediterranean, effective 1 September 2026.
This applies to all container types—including dry, refrigerated (reefer), high-cube, flat rack, open-top, and tank containers—and covers shipments originating from China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Vietnam, and other markets across Southeast and East Asia. For non-SPOT bookings, the change takes effect as of the applicable Price Calculation Date (PCD).
Increase of PSS for Indian Subcontinent and Middle East → US and Canadian West Coast, effective 15 September 2026.
The revised surcharge is US$8,000 per TEU, applicable to 20-foot and 40-/45-foot dry and reefer containers. This follows a transitional rate of US$6,000 per TEU in effect from 4 to 14 September 2026.
Revised PSS levels for Indian Subcontinent and Middle East → US and Canadian East Coast and Gulf ports, effective 15 September 2026:
US$9,800 per TEU: Dry cargo from India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Nepal, and Bhutan destined for Houston;
US$9,500 per TEU: Same origins destined for other covered East Coast and Gulf ports;
US$9,650 per TEU: Dry cargo from North-West India, Nepal, and Bhutan destined for covered East Coast and Gulf ports (excluding Houston);
US$9,000 per TEU: Dry cargo from Pakistan destined for East Coast and Gulf ports;
US$6,000 per TEU: Dry cargo from the UAE, Yemen, Oman, Iraq, Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Bahrain destined for East Coast and Gulf ports.
Refrigerated cargo-specific PSS for East Coast and Gulf services, effective 15 September 2026:
US$8,000 per TEU: From Pakistan;
US$6,700 per TEU: From North-West India;
US$7,000 per TEU: From the UAE, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
All stated PSS amounts are levied in addition to applicable local charges, contingency surcharges, and other contractual fees.
