MWAX: Strengthening West Africa Connectivity  

The MWAX service provides direct maritime connectivity between West Africa and key ports in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean, with Algeciras and Valencia serving as primary hub terminals.  

According to COSCO SHIPPING Europe, this vessel deployment is part of a broader initiative to enhance service performance, including greater operational resilience and improved transit time predictability. The upgraded MWAX service will also facilitate seamless intermodal connections across COSCO SHIPPING’s global network via its Mediterranean hub infrastructure.
